    Left Center Right #2

LEFT CENTER RIGHT It's time for another contest that's based on an actual game! This game is called Left Center Right, and how the actual game works is each player gets 3 chips. You roll a dice for each chip you have (up to 3 chips per turn), and the dice roll tells what happens with the chip. If you get a dot, that means your chip stays with you. If you roll an 'L', that means the chip moves to the player to your left, and same goes for 'R', where the chip goes right. The 'C' is for center, which means your chip goes into a center 'pot' where it's out of the game. The game continues like that until only one player has any chips left, in which case they are the winner and claim all the chips in the center pot. The CT version is going to work a little different. There will be 10 players, and every player will receive a random 3 toons from the prize pool below. For each toon a person has (up to 3 toons per turn) a dice will be rolled. If a player ends up with more than 3 toons, random.org will determine which 3 get rolled for. 5 rounds will be played, so that way every player has a shot at ending with any toon. After 5 rounds, whoever still has toons wins those toons! And whatever ends up in the center pot, gets raffled to ONE LUCKY PERSON! So before signing up, please make sure to read all the rules posted below, and check out the prize pool at the bottom to see what toons are up for grabs! RULES 1. Post your username to sign up. 10 players may sign up. As much as I would like to allow more, it's going to be a lot of work at my end to keep track of all the toons shuffling around for 5 rounds. 2. After we have the 10 signups, the toons will be randomly assigned to each player, and posted here to see. Then a date for when the game will be played out in chat will be posted. Participation and attendance in chat is not required, but will make it more fun if you're there to follow the toons as they come your way or leave you. 3. I will be using this online LCR dice roller for each roll. Your first toon will get the first dice roll result, second toon gets second result, and third toon gets the third result. If random.org is used because a player has more than 3 toons, the first 3 toons in the randomized list get rolls one, two, and three. And the 4th+ toon(s) on the list are safe in your hands for that turn. 4. Player order is determined by order of signups. For example, 1st person to sign up is Player 1 and will go first, and Player 10 is to their left, Player 2 is to their right. 5. Five rounds will be played, and whoever has toons at the end of the 5th round will win the toons they have. And all the toons that end up in the center pot will then be raffled to ONE LUCKY PLAYER! 6. Prizes will be passed out asap following the end of the contest, and results will be posted here for everyone to see. And now the prize pool!

    The Smackdown Quarter Has Ended!

It's been almost 8 years of using the old thread, I think for the sake of not needing to go through so many pages and posts it's time we started a new one. It IS the first quarter with the new reward toons anyways! So below are the Top 30 for this past quarter. Only Top 20 will receive prizes, but 21st-30th are included in case we need to bump people up. Another page was included for the sake of including the actual 30th place person, since EvlTgpi is discounted for being the site plot villain account. Scores have also been reset for the new quarter. Please stay tooned for a more detailed post that asks everyone to pick their prizes.

So here's the final list of everyone who participated in at least one part of the plot (outside of the CTF portion that I was unable to track). These are all the people who will be receiving the Evil Togepi toon. There's 67 in total, and although there are currently 175 in game (this is because I literally replaced the Mystery Toon with this toon) I will be deleting 100 of them from the game making it so there's only 75. The remaining 8 will be put into CTC_JR. In addition to this, I have a pair of special raffles for those who participated in all 4 parts I was able to track. There were 11 players who completed/took part in all 4 parts of the plot and have been entered into a pair of raffles, one for Armored Mewtwo, and one for Attacking Mewtwo! First is the raffle for Armored Mewtwo. The winner was Moxie! And then we have the Attacking Mewtwo raffle. The winner was Lannisteryen! So all of these prizes will be passed out today. Thank you again to everyone who took part in this!

We then reached the final part of the plot, Defeat Evil Togepi! With Evil Togepi now hiding in Smackdown, I went there myself to..........'confront' him. After being spoken to by Random CT Player, it was stated that we needed to defeat him in Smackdown. For long periods of time, EvlTgpi would appear in Smackdown looking for new people he thought he could beat. He would mainly only battle a person multiple times if he kept winning, or if enough time had past that he was willing to give it another go at victory, otherwise he would literally be looking for 'new' people to beat. Announcements were put up at the top of the forums stating when Evil Togepi was in Smackdown to battle. He was given a HP bar, of 175 HP. Every victory over him resulted in -5 HP. Every loss to him resulted in +1 HP. This lasted until today, and I really tried to drag this out to try and allow the most possible time for as many people as possible to battle EvlTgpi to get counted for participating in this part of the plot. But I decided it had to end today before the quarter reset, so EvlTgpi would not be on the next quarter rankings at all. Essentially battling him just once was enough to be counted for this part of the plot. And when Evil Togepi's HP reached zero, he was defeated, arrested, and the plot ended. So with that all put out there for everyone to see, let me again thank anyone who participated at any point of this crazy plot idea of mine. I had fun planning it and appreciate that other people enjoyed it too. And for those who were not fans of it, I apologize, this was just meant to be something fun. Sorry if you got annoyed at missing a CTF, or not actually getting Time Machine pulls. But it was a one time thing for each of those events, so I hope it was at least understandable. With the exception of the CTF code as I had no way of marking who entered the codes, I kept track of all the people who took part in each point of the plot. I kept lists of the people who messaged EvlTgpi for the Time Machine pulls, who messaged CTC_JR about the missing arcade game, who eventually sent me the message about Evil Togepi in Smackdown, and who actually completed a battle with Evil Togepi. I remember a couple people who had issues with Smackdown working but did at least show up in Smackdown and tried to battle, so I will count them for that part. So now, for EVERYONE who participated in at least ONE PART of this plot, you will all be receiving the Evil Togepi Contest Award! There may be some more prizes for those who took part in all the steps I tracked, so stay tooned for that.

Next part of the plot was the CTC Shop Hijack! The Monday after Double Points ended, the CTC shop was emptied and replaced with 175 of the Mystery Toons, all at the cost of 175 points. The hint here is that Togepi is #175 in the Pokedex. Another message was sent out about the shop, which again had a link for the CTPD Press Conferences thread. This time however, instead of a puzzle to solve, it was essentially a scavenger hunt going back across the various parts of the plot to reveal undiscovered and new clues and hints to the identity of the mystery villain. This starts with Officer Bonkers telling you to go look for a clue inside the CTC Shop. The CTC shop had 175 of the Mystery Toon, which were buyable with a limit of '1'. Unfortunately I wasn't able to set it to '0', so I put this in the Want List portion: FOR YOU TO WASTE YOUR STUPID POINTS ON ONE OF MY MYSTERY TOONS! AND TRUST ME, IT'LL REALLY BE A WASTE! That was me trying to tell everyone don't bother buying the Mystery Toon as it would be a waste of points. So thanks to all that did, I would just remove them from accounts as soon as I could. The Shop Description however had a link back to the old edited post from the CTF puzzle, which now looked like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bonkers: So this is where you were sent to find the missing CTF code, right? We should look around and see if there's any other clues. *after a quick search* Bonkers: A Pokeball? So our criminal may be a Pokémon Trainer. Or perhaps even a Pokémon, I know I'm not the only talking cat out there! But I don't see anything else here, maybe we should go check one of the other places? What was the account that the criminal used before again? EvlTgpi! Let's go there! Wait, but wasn't that shut down by the Mods? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From here, you were to go look for the EvlTgpi account, which was now restored to the game. On the cworld was Bonkers and the new Pokémon Eggs starter toon. The cworld message read: "The account is back up it would seem! But there's nothing here but these Pokemon eggs! We're definitely dealing with something Pokemon though. Come on, next stop is Towering Legends!" Next stop was the Towering Legends game which now had an image of the Togepi toon in place of the Golden Raichu trophy. The game was still giving out the Golden Raichu trophy if anyone were to play it, this was just a picture change. There was also added text to the game instructions that said: "Whoa, how long has the trophy toon been a Togepi? Hang on............I think I might have an idea about who's behind all this! The Pokémon thing, EvlTgpi, an ACTUAL Togepi here............QUICK, BACK TO CTC, TO THE CWORLD! The final step of the scavenger hunt was then to go to the CTContests cworld, which could be accessed through CTC's shop or by clicking CTC's name in the mall directory (as the account isn't actually searchable through the Visit Cworlds method). On the cworld was the reveal of the villain, Evil Togepi himself. The cworld message had a link to a post that looked like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bonkers: EVIL TOGEPI! It was you all along! Evil Togepi: HAHAHA! THAT'S RIGHT, STUPID! Took you this long to figure it out cause you're STUPID! Bonkers: Ignoring that, we have you now! Surrender quietly or we will use force to capture you! Evil Togepi: HAH! If you want to catch me, you're gonna have to beat me! SEE YA LATER, STUPID! *Evil Togepi runs in the direction of the Smackdown arena* Bonkers- Wha- HEY! GET BACK HERE! I'm going after him, go alert one of the Admins! I know Sharktibolt was around before we went on this hunt, go message him and tell him that Evil Togepi is the culprit, and is hiding out in Smackdown! *Bonkers runs into the arena* The last thing people had to do here was just message me saying Evil Togepi is the villain and was hiding in Smackdown. People were then given a 25K point reward for the information. People then had the rest of the week to go through this scavenger hunt and message me. That was all for this part of the plot.

Next up was Part 3, The Vanishing Arcade Game! The following Sunday after the Time Machine was back to normal, it was 'discovered' that one of the arcade games, Towering Legends, had gone missing from the arcade. A message was sent out about it, and directed everyone back to the CTPD Press Conferences thread. This time as there was no Mystery Toon involved, Officer Bonkers told people to try looking at the description of one of the trophy toons from the game. This would have been either Golden Pikachu or Golden Raichu, which could be found in the Database if a player did not own either. The description for BOTH toons had another URL for another edited forum post. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HAHAHAHAHAHA! I'VE STOLEN YOUR STUPID GAME, COLLECTOONS! I MEAN IT REALLY IS STUPID FOR NOT HAVING ME IN IT. IF YOU WANT ME TO ADD THE STUPID THING BACK, SOLVE MY PUZZLE TO FIND OUT THE CWORLD PLAYER ID OF THE PLAYER YOU NEED TO MESSAGE ABOUT IT! The First number for the player ID is the number of days in a week. (7) Second number is the day on which World Chocolate Day happens. (7) Third number is the number of letters in Australia minus the number of letters in Idaho. (4) The Last number is the Jackpot number in slot machines. (7) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ People had to solve this puzzle to get the player ID number for the cworld they needed to visit. For anyone who didn't know, the URL's for everyone's cworlds look like this: http://www.collectoons.com/mycworld/viewcworld/7747 If you notice the numbers at the end, that is the player ID number. This puzzle solves for 7747, which was the ID number for CTC_JR. When players arrived there, the cworld message read something like this: "HUMPH. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE STUPID, STOP SOLVING MY PUZZLES. WHATEVER THOUGH, JUST MESSAGE THIS ACCOUNT FOR SOME STUFF. I'LL PROBABLY JUST PUT THE GAME BACK LATER THIS WEEK CAUSE YOU'RE NOT FUN TO MESS WITH WHEN YOU'RE NOT STUPID." Players then just had to message the account, and were then sent an offline with some prizes. Each person got 3 toons. One toon from 2008-2010, one from 2011-2013, then one from 2014 or 2015. Every single person got one Pokémon toon for one of their prizes. Between the missing game being the 'Pokemon' game, the comment in the puzzle about 'not having me in it', and with one prize always being a Pokémon toon, it was meant to be hinted that the villain was something Pokémon related. People were going to have a full week for this part, but with Double Points having started and what looked like no more players were messaging, I ended this part earlier on the Friday of Double Points Weekend, so people could play the game during double points. Or you can chalk it up to the villain getting bored with people not being stupid. Thus this part of the plot ended, and again players were told to stay tooned for more from the mystery villain.

Next was Part 2, The Broken Time Machine! After the CTF got sent out normally again, the following Wednesday when the Time Machine reset, all of the toons were pulled out of it and replaced with just the Mystery Toon Quickly after the reset, another message was sent out about it, linking back to the CTPD Press Conferences thread. And once again, Officer Bonkers would direct people to check the toon description again. The description had another URL for another old edited forum post that was changed to look like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STUPID COLLECTOONS! THIS TIME I HAVE YOUR STUPID TIME MACHINE PULLS IN MY ACCOUNT! BUT IF YOU'RE NOT STUPID ENOUGH AND CAN SOLVE MY PUZZLE, YOU CAN MAYBE FIGURE OUT WHAT MY USERNAME IS! GOOD LUCK, STUPID! The first letter of my username is the first letter of the word easy. (E) The second letter of my username is the 22nd letter of the alphabet. (V) The third letter of my username is to the left of the semicolon key on your keyboard. (L) The fourth letter of my username is the first letter of this sentence. (T) The fifth letter of my username is the letter that starts the two letter word that means the opposite of "stop". (G) the sixth letter of my username is the only caPital letter in this sentence. (P) The last letter of my username is the third vowel letter. (I) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The puzzle above needed to be solved to find the account of the mystery villain. The answers for each line are in parenthesis, and together all spell out EVLTGPI. EvlTgpi = Evil Togepi, also another hint at the ID of the mystery villain. When people then visited the cworld of EvlTgpi, the cworld message read: "IF YOU WEREN'T STUPID ENOUGH TO NOT FIND MY ACCOUNT, SEND ME AN OFFLINE OF THAT STUPID QUESTION MARK TOON AND I'LL SEND YOU A REAL TM TOON PULL BACK." At this point each person was meant to message the account, asking for their TM pulls. EvlTgpi would then send an offline back for each Mystery Toon the person had, in exchange for a 'TM pull'. So normal players would only get their usual one, but if Premium players ended up with 2 Mystery Toons, they would receive 2 TM pull toons. I tried to find wishlists or get an idea of the kind of toons people liked when selecting toons to send over, so I hope the people that received TM pulls in this manor were happy with what they got. People had a week to solve this puzzle and message the account. Then with the next Time Machine reset, the normal toons were all restored back into the TM, and the remaining Mystery Toons were removed from any accounts that still had them. EvlTgpi was also 'deleted' at this time. Thus this part of the plot was over, and again everyone was asked to stay tooned for more mischief from the mystery villain.

    Site Plot Discussion Thread

Alright, I figured it'll make more sense to post the details of the plot here for people to see so people can also respond if they so wish to. So first part of the plot was the Case of the Missing CTF! This started with the usual CTF message that stated the CTF code was HAHAHAHA. When this was redeemed however, this was the reward: Fun fact about the Mystery Toon, it was made entirely using the colors of Togepi. So kind of like the first clue to the identity but only realized after the fact. Soon after the CTF message was sent out, another message was sent out about the actual CTF code word being missing. People were then linked to the CTPD Press Conferences thread, where eventually Officer Bonkers would give the first instruction, which was to go look at the toon description of the Mystery Toon on its info card. The description had a URL for an old edited forum post that was changed to look like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HAHAHAHA! HELLO, STUPID COLLECTOONS! I STOLE YOUR STUPID CTF CODE AND TOONS! SINCE I KNOW YOU'RE ALL TOO STUPID TO FIND THEM, OR ME EVEN, I'M GONNA GIVE YOU A PUZZLE TO SOLVE. SOLVE THE PUZZLE, AND YOU'LL HAVE YOUR STUPID CTF CODE WORD THAT'LL GET YOU THE ACTUAL STUPID CTF TOONS. BUT I BET YOU CAN'T SOLVE IT, CAUSE YOU'RE STUPID! HAHAHAHA!!! T G N H I ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For this people just had to unscramble the word to get the actual CTF code word. The word actually ends up unscrambling into both THING and NIGHT, but only NIGHT was the correct code word. People had a full week until the release of the next CTF to solve this puzzle. Because of the extra steps to getting this CTF code, both of the toons were kept active for a full week, instead of one of them expiring after a day. So that way if people tried to do this puzzle say on Thursday, they would still get both CTF code toons. With the next CTF code word being sent out normally, this part of the plot was over, and everyone was asked to 'stay tooned' for further shenanigans from the mystery villain.
