  2. WOW! Thank you so much!^^ XxGothsCanSmile2xX here and happy to take another leap!
  3. XxGothsCanSmile2xX is entering back in on this fine, unexpected snow day here in MN.
  4. I joined a Smash club about 2 weeks ago, and last night I had one of the most epic rounds I have ever seen. Me and my opponent both decided to play as Mr. Game & Watch, and there was one moment where we both got right next to each other and activated our hammers with the random number generator at the exact same moment, and we both got a 9! Unfortunately, nothing happened, it seems as though if two 9s hit each other simultaneously, they just cancel each other out, but it was still an epic moment to witness!

This just reminds me of the E3 Nintendo presentation last year where they first showed off Smash Ultimate. There was that part where they were showing the two different Ikes fighting and they both just do their sword thing into each other and nothing happens.

  5. Manage to snatch this up early this morning... Not bad!
  6. My mom went out and got one of those 400 piece bags of Tootsie-Rolls because she really wanted to know if it really did hold 400 Tootsie-Rolls or not. So I counted them for her, and there were exactly 427!:thumbu:

  7. XxGothsCanSmile2xX Here we go again, please and thank you!^^
  8. New server, new dive, XxGothsCanSmile2xX is in!
  9. If the TM wants give me duplicates of every single toon from this set, I would not be disappointed... And this week it gave me the best one of the bunch!^^
  10. I just got back from a local Savers in my city, where I managed to pick up a rare original VHS, black diamond-back collection, hard cover copy of 'Beauty and the Beast' for only $1.99 , and it's in near perfect condition, too! XD

Collectors value that particular copy of this movie anywhere between 5 - 20 THOUSAND dollars today! This is beyond my lucky day, I was straight up, purely blessed!^^

I also picked a copy of 'Mulan' because Mulan is just awesome, man!

I know we still have a bunch of old Disney VHS that look exactly like what those look like (I googled 'black diamond-back collection' for an idea). I'm actually curious now if we're sitting on some expensive VHS tapes or something. XD

Not that we'd sell them because that was our childhood. But I mean it would be cool to know.

    2. XxGothsCanSmile2xX

@SharktiboltI was actually looking it up the other day, and pretty much all of the original VHS copies of the entire Disney Princesses films are worth a couple thousand dollars, each! Just 'Aladdin' alone can be around $2k. Also, I found out 'The Fox and the Hound' is worth a pretty penny as well. So yeah, your childhood is pretty much worth a goldmine now.:bulge:

I wish that Disney vhs fad was true lol. I acquired mine when my parents were cleaning house, for the memories, and my brothers argued I was taking valuable money. When things seem too good to be true, then they usually aren't true. But geez, wouldn't it be awesome if they were worth a lot lol.

  11. This has just not been my month, so far. In my acting and vocalization class today, we were practicing how to stage-slap somebody across the face without actually touching them, when my partner miscalculated his distance and decked me a good one across the nose!:cryz:

I was literally down on the ground in tears because of the pain, but at least now I can honestly say the phrase, "That hurt more than the time I smacked into a tree while skiing, but not as much as the time I got ran over by a car." :chuckle:

I hope your partner got in trouble. Ouch!

    2. XxGothsCanSmile2xX

@XavianangelNot really, I knew it was an accident, and he really did feel bad about it. He apologized and everything, and I'm alright.

  12. Happy Pi day, everybody!^^

  13. Here's the little corner I backed myself into...

I entered an online raffle, absolutely convinced I wasn't going to win. Mainly because 1) I've entered many of these kind of contests before and never won anything, and 2) the chances of winning these things are next to impossibly slim.

So I entered anyway just because I thought it would be kind of funny, and so I could always say, 'at least no one can say I didn't try!:lick:' You know, just to be quirky.

Needless to say, the 'quirk' was on me because I just got an email this morning telling me I won! XD

As excited as I am about it, the thing now though, is I honestly don't know what to do, because now I got this awesome PAX East pass - one of the events I've only dreamed of getting so much as a CHANCE of going to - but I have absolutely no means to actually travel there!:banghead:

I might have to start a GoFundMe page.

@Sharktibolt I hope so too, this would be a dream come true for me! And yeah, unless I get an email telling me otherwise, pretty much. But even if I could get there for free, the most expensive commodity would still be the hotel costs. I've already did a little research and the cheapest I could find was over $200 a night!

@Josh123 PAX doesn't start til March 28th and goes through March 31st. So I would probably need to get there on the 27th. So I've got a little time, but still not that much.

When I travel I usually stay in Bed & Breakfasts or use Airbnb.  I find it safer to stay in a home than a hotel as a single gal.  Good news!  I checked around the convention center and you could stay in a nice Airbnb as low as $70 a night.  Hope this helps and congrats.

@PurpleHazeThank you so much for the advice!^^ And I checked Airbnb myself now, and its actually pretty amazing. This really helps a lot.
